Terms of Service
By creating an account or using the Slabbr Chrome extension or website ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What Slabbr is
Slabbr is a Chrome extension that captures a single video frame from your active browser tab when you press a shortcut, identifies the trading card it shows, and displays market price information from public pricing sources. Slabbr is not affiliated with Whatnot, TCGPlayer, JustTCG, Pokémon, Nintendo, or any TCG publisher.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have parental consent. By creating an account you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Your account
You may only create one account per person. Account credentials are tied to the email address you sign up with; you are responsible for keeping that email secure. We may suspend or close accounts that share credentials, abuse the Service, or violate these Terms.
4. Subscriptions and billing
- Free plans are subject to a daily scan cap that may change with notice.
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
- You may cancel at any time from the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; the paid features remain available until then.
- We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were billed in error, contact us within 30 days and we will review.
- Prices are listed in USD and may change with at least 14 days' notice to active subscribers.
5. Accuracy disclaimer
Slabbr's card identifications and price displays are provided as-is, drawn from third-party APIs (Ximilar for identification; JustTCG and TCGCSV for pricing) that may be inaccurate, incomplete, or stale. Slabbr surfaces a confidence indicator on every scan; you are responsible for verifying any identification or price before making a purchase decision. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Service or its data outputs;
- Attempt to bypass quota enforcement, including by creating multiple accounts;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source of the Service beyond what is necessary for interoperability;
- Use the Service to violate any law or any third-party terms of service (including Whatnot's terms);
- Interfere with the Service's operation or the experience of other users.
7. Intellectual property
The Slabbr extension, website, brand, and source code are owned by the operator. Card images and trademarks shown in scans are owned by their respective rights holders. Pricing data is sourced from third parties under their respective terms.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, abuse the Service, or if continued operation becomes impractical. Upon termination, your access ends; data deletion follows the Privacy Policy.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranty of any kind. In no event will the operator's total liability to you exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim. The operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits on cards purchased after relying on a Slabbr scan.
10. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may change features, pricing, or these Terms with notice. Material changes will be announced via email to active users. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of residence of the operator. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
